July 21, 2025 Climate Cafe by CPA-NA

Lately, many of us are finding it harder to catch our breath. There is so much to tend to. From the heartbreak of ongoing war and humanitarian crises to social unrest, political uncertainty, and the intensifying climate emergency, our newsfeeds are filled with events that can leave us feeling numb, overwhelmed, grief-stricken, or alone.

In recognition of the emotional weight of this moment—and how these crises often intersect—we invite you to join us in turning toward what we’re feeling, rather than away.

A Climate Cafe is a gentle, nonjudgmental space to simply be human. A place where you can speak from the heart—or stay quiet and just listen. A place where it’s okay to feel whatever is there. Climate grief is often entangled with many other kinds of grief, and you are welcome to bring all of it.

Research shows that while most people feel alone with their feelings, the majority of people are concerned about climate change. You are not alone. Talking about these feelings in groups can help make them bearable.

This event is held by the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America.
