Psychological First Aid

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence-informed behavioral health intervention that is used to help people experiencing stress to reduce their symptoms and improve functioning. This is a highly interactive 3-hour training which will teach the basic principles and tools which make up PFA while providing plenty of time for practice.

Meet the Host:

Rebecca Wener MA, MPH, LPCC is a licensed professional counselor candidate in Colorado and an employee of the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment on their Disaster Behavioral Health team. She has over a decade of public health experience, with three years working in disaster behavioral health response and recovery.
