The Curriculum Committee designs, creates, and executes educational and training opportunities for CPA-NA members and the public, featuring experts and leaders from a variety of climate mental health communities. Clinical workshops, public events, and a 3-level Certificate in Climate-Aware Psychology provide members and the public with the ability to develop and deepen their own knowledge, skills, and offerings within their own areas of practice. Content is carefully crafted and presented to encourage participation and connection among participants, and to reflect current and evidence-based approaches and wisdom about disaster mental health, burnout prevention among frontline workers, as well as existential concerns we and our clients express about climate change.
Events are coordinated through the Events Logistics Subcommittee. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for an event, please use the Events Proposal Form.
The Curriculum Committee includes Barbara Easterlin, Kelsey Philippi, Natalie Thomas, emily corbiere bates, Joanna Mallory, and Robert “Tor” Beinhocker. Each member supports the creation and implementation of our educational programming, along with additional guest speakers and educators who share their expertise with our members.
